Dream Team

Brittany Noltiimier

Owner/Artistic Director/Choreographer

Brittany embodies the essence of a multifaceted artist and mentor, dedicated to nurturing the talents and aspirations of young performers. From her beginnings at Miki’s School of Dance in ND to her extensive training at Oklahoma City University, Brittany’s journey has been defined by a passion for dance, theater, and the transformative power of mentorship.

Currently based in Orlando, FL, Brittany wears many hats. She’s not just a guest teacher or professional dancer; she’s a visionary leader and owner of Central Florida Performing Arts (CFPA), a youth theater production that she took under her wing in 2021. CFPA, established in 1998, is not just a theater company to Brittany; it’s a platform for fostering creativity, self-expression, and personal growth among young performers.

But Brittany’s impact extends far beyond the stage of CFPA. As a national judge and master class teacher at prestigious competitions such as Talent on Parade, Florida & Georgia Theatre Conference, Florida State & Districts, Starquest, National Performing Arts Festival at Universal Orlando, and Inspire National Dance Competition, she travels across the country, spreading the joy of dance and theater to aspiring performers. Brittany understands that success in the arts is not just about mastering steps or hitting the right notes; it’s about cultivating a mindset of resilience, determination, and excellence in all aspects of life. That’s why her coaching philosophy goes beyond technique; it’s about empowering individuals to envision their dreams and equipping them with the tools to turn those dreams into reality.

Brittany’s commitment to mentorship is evident in her endeavors at Oklahoma City University, where she serves as a guest speaker, coaching current students on future possibilities in Florida. She understands the challenges young performers face, from navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry to charting a path towards personal and professional fulfillment. That’s why her mentorship programs for children focus not just on dance or theater skills, but on goal setting, identifying future opportunities, and cultivating effective networking skills. Brittany cares deeply about the futures and successes of the young talents she mentors, and she’s dedicated to guiding them towards a brighter, more fulfilling future, both on and off the stage. Through her podcast, “Dance Colleges and Careers,” she shares valuable insights and resources to help aspiring performers navigate the college admissions process and beyond.

Some of her favorite musical theater credits include West Side Story (Estella), Footloose (Rusty), Nunsense (Sister Mary Leo), Fiddler on the Roof (ens), and Legally Blonde (ens). Brittany worked as an Equity dancer at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas”. She was a dance captain and performer at Universal Studios “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular”. At Legoland FL, Brittany taught the Halloween award winning show, “Groovin’ Graveyard” and was a singer in the original “Lego Friends” rock concert show. She also worked numerous roles at Seaworld and Aquatica FL as a singer, dancer, and actor.

Laura Breece

 Associate Director

Laura Breece is proud to be joining the CFPA Staff of educators for the 2023-24 season. Hailing from Canada by way of Indianapolis, she has been teaching dance, theatre, and fitness classes for almost four decades. Laura has choreographed and/or directed almost 70 full length productions, ranging from classic mainstage shows to new material being workshopped in NYC. She has proved capable at handling all ages and abilities successfully, with a reputation for challenging students to believe harder in themselves.

Laura went to Purdue University on a springboard diving scholarship, but retired when she discovered the dance studio. Studying modern dance, ballet and jazz at the college level as a beginner was uniquely advantageous. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and worked in the newspaper business while coaching local diving champions in Indianapolis. However, the call of the arts was loud, and she found herself back in the dance room.

Teaching dance and raising three artsy kids led to setting school stage productions, community theatre, regional professional theatre, and champion school show choir. She believes strongly in the coaching/education process, creating a wholesome environment where kids are challenged, allowed to get sweaty, and learn new things about their capabilities. Life is hard and giving kids new coping mechanisms, interpersonal skills, and personal tools for success is vital. The arts do all of this. Thank you for your support!

“HOW TO READ MUSIC VIDEO COURSE”
In an effort to help my students become better musicians, I created a video course called “How To
Read Music in 7 Easy Lessons”. If you are interested in learning to sing, you should also know how
to read music. My goal in this easy and affordable course is to help you learn the musical symbols and
musical terms that are the fundamentals (the “ABC’s”) of reading music! Once you’ve completed this
course, you will be well on your way to becoming proficient at reading any piece of music!
